As a child Guy Tringali studied painting and design at the Massachusetts College of Art and The Museum School in Boston. After graduating High School he studied advertising art at the Butera School of Art in Boston. Guy’s career as an art and creative director in advertising spanned more than 35 years and throughout his career was the recipient of many advertising industry awards.
Now residing in Wellfleet on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Guy has gone back to painting. As the son of a Gloucester fisherman, Guy is combining his painting skills with the skills of his father and is generating a beautiful collection of detailed salt water and fresh water fish all executed in watercolor. Guy’s goal is to accurately portray each species with giving a slight emphasis to color in celebration of their individual beauty.
Guy is also busy capturing the gentle and natural beauty of Cape Cod, MA and of the Kezar Lake/Center Lovell area of Maine. You will find several examples of this work by clicking on "Oils Gallery", "Fresh Water Gallery" and "Salt Water Gallery".
